Volo and Non go about collecting the plates together, similarly to the events in game.
Though they had been released, Non manages to find and recatch his pokemon.

The two of them arrive at the Temple of Sinnoh. Just before doing so Volo had changed into his Sinnoh Outfit (please let me know if theres a better name for this...)

Just before Non can provide the plates he was holding onto to Volo his body goes rigid for a moment.


Arceus itself had decided that if Non was not going to stop Volo, then it would do it itself.

Arceus wordlessly takes over Non's body and challenges Volo to a battle. Non's pokemon are rightfully confused but go along with his orders anyways... partially because Arceus itself was providing the orders telepathically to them. All the wile Arceus is berating Non for helping Volo.

Volo at this point goes back to his beliefs that Non was in fact just working with Arceus the whole time, now thinking that Non was just lying to him.

Non (Arceus) ends up defeating Volo, who promptly leaves.
Arceus then leaves as well, Non being the only one remaining in the Temple now.

Unfortunately for him, Arceus did not exactly know how much strength to use when moving a human body, causing Non to be unable to move aftweards due to broken bones and internal bleeding.
Despite the immense amount of pain he was in, having literal God in you does things to you. Namely, making it to where you are effectively immortal*.

Non laid there on the Temple ground, unable to move to reach his pokeballs.
He remained there for a little over a month as his body healed, luckily doing so faster than normal.



Once he was able to move, he began to make his way back to Jubilife Village. Though he knew that they probably would still not trust him, it was still somewhere where he could go for now.

Once arriving, he was surprised that the villagers didn't just throw him out. He could at least try to recuperate for now.

When gathering supplies, namely food and clothes, he saw that a similar outfit to what Volo had been wearing at the Temple was being sold. Though he felt strange about doing so, he bought himself one.

He then learned that his home had not been given to anyone as of yet. He goes inside and puts the new outfit on, thinking of what could have been.
